Rollins Spins Himself Over "Bigamist" Statement
Patrick Healy of The New York Times blog, The Empire Zone, noted that Ed Rollins is trying to make nice with State GOP chairman Stephen Minarik over the way he called John Spencer a "bigamist" but no apology is forthcoming to the Spencer family.
Rollins, at the moment, is too proud to apologize and his candidate is too proud to allow him.
"...Ed Rollins, an adviser to McFarland for Senate, is holding his nose and making peace with Chairman Minarik of the G.O.P., while at the same time calling the state party irrelevant and telling its leadership to stop trying to force K.T. from the race. On NY1 last night, Mr. Rollins said he used the wrong word when he called K.T.’s rival John Spencer a “bigamist,” but pretty much refused to apologize for the content of his attack on Mr. Spencer’s personal life. Ed did feel badly that the two Spencer kids might be caught in the political crossfire, though."
Too late to feel bad, Ed.
For a welcome change of pace, Scott Sala of Urban Elephants had a respectful and upbeat coverage of the candidates' children at the State GOP Convention.
I think John Spencer should guest star on "Big Love" as Roman's younger brother.

Rollins is a crook and should be banned from politics.
