While I am happy to see the GOP back in control of the NY State Senate, I find it very sad that a "Coup" was the only way for the GOP to do it. (Buying off from two disgruntled Dem''s)

GOP'ers could not do it the old fashioned way, that is by winning within their OWN Republican districts on election day.

NY-GOP must remember two facts...

1 - Enact fiscal & social Republicanism in the chambers.

2 - Look yourselves in the mirror every morning and remind yourselves why you lost the State Senate in the first place.

Either way...New York State Government will remain as being the Most Dysfunctional State Government in America if we continue with three men in a room and no term limits for career politicians in New York State.

Senator Libous from Binghamton said.....
"This is about reform," he said in an exclusive interview with the Press & Sun-Bulletin after the session. "The Democratic leadership could not do it and people got tired of waiting."

He cited numerous promises by Democrats to change Albany's way of doing things to a more even-handed system, but nothing ever happened, Libous said.

I remind all in the NY-GOP ....Republicans didn't show the slightest interest in such reforms in the four decades they ran the Senate. It will be back to the "Slaughter House" with this Party again unless they enact reform now.
